Mr. Siebert said that he unwittingly incorporated some of the phrasing from the e-mail message that he had been sent earlier.
will prevent people from going to law school, graduating college etc. But when our big name "journalists" like the dumbass above do it...oops, sorry! No bigs!

(I wrote a bit more about this, mentioning Doris Kearns Goodwin, but when I was editing it the screen blinked and I had lost everything I wrote. I'll try to keep it snappy, there's a 5 minute limit on composition apparently. Which is all right.)

Maybe it's just because I read the times on my phone in the grim morning, but I feel as though that is literally the dreck that Maureen Dowd is allowed to produce and publish.

Siebert incorporated someone else's content unwittingly.
Dowd did so unwittily (as she does everything).
So I guess unwitty plaigiarism is OK, while the unwitting variety is not.
