I attended a wedding reception at a Chuck E. Cheese, which was funnier in concept than execution. for one thing, they had no nourishing alcohol. Fonely it had been Toledo.

My husband and I showed up to babysit our nephew (5 at the time), and his parents (NOT MY SIDE) said- we promised him you'd take him to Chucky Cheese. We said OK, if that's what you want.

Terrifying. Bad food, unclean, half the games don't work, the other children were not nice and mostly unsupervised while their parents drank piss beer and ate less-than-microwave quality pizza.

True confession: A friend of my kid's had a birthday party there and I called his mom and told her my kid was sick and could not attend.

I have never been inside a Chuck E. Cheese's and I will go to my grave that way. Now, other venues of moderate white trashdom--the NJ State Fair in the Meadowlands every summer, the little play area inside the Chick-fil-A--now we're talking!

Well, let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, that I myself once worked at Chuck E. Cheese's. Yes, there was alcohol, and yes, occasionally, some poor bastard father who had been there all day "watching" the kids and at the same time "getting blind drunk" would have to be cut off by some just-turned-18 girl, and they would sometimes get in shouting matches about it. Also those moms do get testy as shit about the plastic tablecloth being just so at little Brandon's party. Never saw an actual fight. I did once trick someone into cleaning up urine, though, and I felt pretty good about myself.

The first and only time I have ever set foot in Chuck E. Cheese was a few months ago and I was so disappointed. I never realized that it is a casino for the Yo Gabba Gabba set.

I vividly remember this from my childhood... I went to Chuck E. Cheese with my family for my little brother's 2nd birthday. I'm 7 years older than him, so I was 9 at the time - probably a year or two older than the typical Chuck E. Cheese crowd and I was tall at the time.

WELL - I'm on the wack on mole and there's SOME KID behind me... I don't know this kid. He's not with our party, I've never seen him before. His dad comes up and *grabs my wrist* and tells me not to ever fucking butt in front of his kid again.

I WAS TERRIFIED! I didn't butt in front of the kid and I had no idea what to do lol.... I just ran off and told my dad and they got INTO IT - BIG TIME!

I'm 21 now and I remember this like it was yesterday lol.
