    I'm amazed that no-one has commented on the enormous abuse of the stretch function in photoshop that someone has committed in order to make Reese Witherspoon look the same height as Vince Vaughn.


    For those unaware, Vaugn is more than a foot taller than Witherspoon in real life.

    The Pursuit of Happyness's budget was $55 million. The movie made $163 million domestically and $143 million in foreign territories.


    Will Smith is automatic box office gold. You could greenlight a movie called "Will Smith Movie" and it would do at least $100 million.


    Incidentally, "Seven Pounds" is the best script I've ever read. It's about an do-gooder IRS agent the same way that "The Godfather" is about a young veteran just back from overseas.

    I'll add only that movies are for enjoying, people -- you should really give them a chance. There will be plenty of time to tear them down after you see them and decide, if in fact you do, that they suck.


    Let's at least pretend like the vogue for underinformed pre-emptive strikes is going out with GWB.
