    I blame the parents. Stupid people breeding kids they have no commitment to. When I was a kid, my mom was always in my room. If I had anything I was afraid she'd find, I didn't bring it home or just didn't have it.


    Of course everyone will raise the Satanic Panic flag for this.

    @PrincessKashmir: You know what's scary? I am Facebook friends with this crazy guy I went to high school with, and he has similar rhetoric on his page. Along with creepy ass photos of him holding guns like that. He's got that same sort of look on his face in all his pictures too.

    The first time I read through his MySpace page, I kept thinking that the majority of his contact info names were somehow cryptically referencing the show 'John and Kate plus eight,' as a means of expressing deep-seated, teenagerly and undoubtedly anarchistic hatred for John and Kate. Then, I happened to notice that his full name is John KATErlis. Now, instead of fearing for the safety of a TV couple whose show I have never watched, I sit here trying to decide if I am more stupid than I am old and out of touch, or if it's the other way around.

    I think this will probably significantly reduce the likelihood that Weber kept a knife by the bed for playing out fantasies, and that he started the stabbing, requiring the 16-year-old to act in self defence.
