After glancing at a couple of that kid's "homages", if I were Ralph Macchio, I probably wouldn't be scared, but I'd definitely be confused.

MySpace became a cyberghetto because they allowed too much customization of MySpace pages.
Nobody wanted to be assaulted by a deluge of autoplaying videos and audio and having their browser crash when trying to consume the 300 pictures of some 19 year old yenta's bat mitzvah.
Facebook is a lot closer to the cyberghetto with it's limitless application requests we are bombarded with from friends who lack any self-awareness.

I actually think it's kind of cute, when my brick and mortar friends painstakingly work out a business plan and present it to a financier before they do anything. While my MO has always been, you just push "Go!" and let the chips fall where they may.
