    I hate to break it to you, but Mr. Silverman has fallen a lot farther than you know. At the Coffee and Tea Bean on Sunset this morning, he made me the tastiest chai-latte, and it only took him three tries.

    This man has a future.

    Oh, and with the money I left for a tip, I suggested that he take his friend on over to Fantastic Sam's for the Emo Phillip's Special.

    Talk about a win-win....

    Biden was the most inscrutable choice, ever, for VP. Instead of "change" Obama brought out an old hack, who had trouble with both truth telling, even during the campaign, and with inserting his foot into his mouth. Oh, to know what kind of negotiation that was, to get him on the ticket---except, perhaps to allay terrified old white guys who feared a woman and a (half)black man on the ticket would bring on the apocalypse. #joebiden

    I wandered into the kitchen and considered for, like, the tenth time that day, how hard it would be to, like, pee into a funnel or something and then into, like, my boss's coffee. He was, like, such a fucking cretin.
    "Hey!" he, like, yelled from the office. "How long does it take you to get me a cup of coffee, you dozy posh cow? You're not trying to find a goddamn funnel again, are you?"
    I settled for opening a cupboard door and, like, writing "Ricky Van Veen has a really small peen" in the dust with my, like, finger.
