As you know, Google is the world's most frugal company. So they must have really thought the founders of the now-flailing iPhone app Color were on to something when they offered to buy the company for $200 million earlier this year.

Have you heard about this "Color" phone app? It's the hot new location-based photo-sharing social network thing that everyone's talking about but nobody really understands. Well, I've figured it out: It's the best way to stalk strangers who are richer, better-looking, and having more fun than you in real-time.

The Village Voice is getting staples and going full-color in May. Also "navigation tabs added down the outside of every page to mark each section and the newspaper will get more convenient in size." Which means it's shrinking! Anyone know how small? Anyone care? [VV]
