Risking electrocution? It wasn't even raining that hard. And is God supposed to be saving her from her asshole, fame hungry parents or from drugs and alcohol? Or both? God better get on it, he's got his work cut out for him. #michaellohan
"Amen. Did you get that? You need to reshoot? Was the light good enough? The audio? Sure, I'll stay as long as you need to get a good shot. Anything for money... er I mean Lindsay." #michaellohan
Ugh. DOUCHEBAG DAD. Drugs were her logical option. Sadly, I have become so religiously intolerant over the years that I can't stomach anyone praying aloud. Watching Micheal Lohan do it is too much to bear. Please Father God, strike him down. #michaellohan
Is the gossip industry really that big? Isn't it just 4 or 5 magazines, a couple of cable tv channels, and a bunch of free web sites? Maybe 500M a year in revenue in total? There are thousands of companies, let alone industries, that see more than that every year. #michaellohan
I found it curious because I have a friend whose Ad Agencies website features a topdown view of digital people walking around a cityscape. (Sprint is most common ad here). Coincidentally, they went after a national Mini-BMW account recently (Mini is the 2nd most common ad here).
This story is really crazy. He went to Canada, walked into an office building, identified himself as an inhouse lawyer at the company there and commandeered a ocnference room to sell the fraudulent prom notes to unsuspecting investors. He operated a large law firm in which he was the sole equity partner. The firm collapsed immediately upon his arrest. There seems to be a common thread here with Madoff - one should be suspicious of a large operation run almost entirely by one person.
What I cannot understand is the hubris of Madoff and Dreier. If it were me, I'd like to think that I would come to the conclusion that -- you know what, I had a really good run. I stole hundreds of millions of dollars from very savvy investors, and I have not been caught yet. Now is the time to get get out of Dodge and to some banana republic with a no extradition law.
What were they thinking, that they are so much smarter than everyone else?
As with Madoff, Stanford et al., his life sentence should involve eight hours a day of visits from those whose futures he has ruined, with repeat visits permitted if not encouraged.

I think the answer is that they are both sociopaths.
