I wish mainstream gay guys would become a little more sensitive to trans/intersex issues, but I also wish the U.S. would create a Western European-style social safety net and that my fingers suddenly transformed into delicious, regenerative mini-calzones, but none of it is ever going to happen, so whatevs. Party on.
@Foster Kamer: Oh, my mistake. Anyhow, mostly I'm still thinking about how amazing it would be if my fingers were made of calzones, like a much more delicious gingerbread man.
Nobody on a gay run website finds this "ha ha ha, she has a dick!" stuff and the "ha ha ha, she looks like a man!" thing it derived from offensive to intersex people and not exactly compatible with LGBT friendliness?
@Foster Kamer: I didn't 'tell you what to write,' nor would I. I just don't "get" why the Gaga peen obsession is considered so! gasp! funny! that it needs to be addressed on an almost daily basis.
Ha! Stefani in High School was never accused of being a dude. Maybe a little weird yes, but never a dude. Girl wore tiny little skirts like the rest of us.
Doesn't anyone get that she's fucking with the media like a hot version of Andy Kaufman?
Virtually *none* of their online registry @ Tiffany.com has been filled - which hints that most family/friends were well aware that this shitshow was off long before the actual wedding day.
This chick is a piece of work. I'm friends with several people who have known/worked with him for years. People who know his faults and are honest about them. But her story is bullshit.
She was abusive to his staff, throwing fits and tantrums when they didn't treat her with enough deference. She has pushed for a wedding for at least a year and would check into hotels as "Mrs. Todd English." His kids despised her. He has wanted out for a very long time and everyone is his camp is so relieved that it's finally, finally over.
@eastofwest: OK, so why then not break up with her long, long ago? She sounds like no prize, but he sounds like an immature child who doesn't like confrontation.
@FormerEnglishMajor:
yep, and why wasnt the reception canceled? Something is not right here, was he afraid of her and figured he could avoid her wrath by just not showing up?
@tonilost: Did you read the article? Apparently the wedding was canceled a week before, but she went ahead with the reception anyway, in part as a publicity/spin ploy. And also I'm sure it was too late to get the deposits back for the event. If my wedding fell apart a week before, I might do the same thing.
@Atilla the Bun: I'd be calling up Second Harvest and then saving money on the booze, etc. I'm sure she thought she would get back at him by exposing him as a jerk, but they both sound like completely self-involved idiots.
From the puffy Page Six article: "I guess it wasn't meant to be. I'm upset at the way it was handled. When I look back, I realize that I asked every single question a woman should have asked. He just avoided details. I've been thinking about it a lot, and I could really be bitter, but I actually still believe in love."
OH HAI! That's a poorly executed Gouldism unless accompanied by a rooftop swimsuit pic.

For those of us who adore her, we all know she went insane in the horror that was 2005. Or earlier.
