"A source relates that the argument erupted over some stereo equipment missing from the house. Griffin, at 5'7" and 135 pounds, attempted to take down his father with a wrestling hold. Ryan, 42, countered as Ryan often has since competing in the Los Angeles Golden Gloves of 1956 and '57. Though six inches taller, at least 30 pounds heavier and presumably 23 years wiser, Dad, sources say, threw a punch with his left fist that knocked out two of Griffin's front teeth. The boy fled to a friend's house, where he blurted that he never wanted to see his father again."
@PandoraSpocks: Muy bien. Unemployment predicted to rise to almost 20% in the next year (albeit, much of that in the construction sector, pop goes the bubble.)But that of course has a ripple effect through the whole economy, including yours truly. At least I've got not only national but cheap private health insurance to keep me stoked to the gills on Wellbutrin and tranx to survive the partial employment.
Probaly a stupid question but: How do two blondes (O'Neal and Fawcett) produce a redheaded child?? I think O'Neal was vaguely strawberry-blondish in his younger years, but not nearly as red as his son.
@SarahHeartburn: Yup. Here's a photo of Ryan with another of the children he did such a swell job of parenting. (Looks like circa 1974.) Off to find a photo of Griffin after Dad knocked his front teeth out...
@Understater: Both parents have to have red hair gene in their family. I know a few where the red skipped a bunch of generations because someone married someone without it and then a grandchild marries someone with it and viola! A ginger appears.
