You're right, I did lose a million dollars last year. I expect to lose a million dollars this year. I expect to lose a million dollars NEXT year. You know, Mr. Thatcher, at the rate of a million dollars a year, I'll have to close this place in ... 60 years.

I'll miss the Washington coverage of the American-Statesman, Journal-Constitution, Picayune-Gazette, and Muckraker-Almanac, to all of which I subscribe.

But hyphens are prohibitively expensive in this business climate. And in any case, I trust the Government to tell me the truth, as always.

@Baroness: and so they shall tell you the truth, when the government feels it is appropriate for you to know, and according to the needs of those in power to keep hidden what must remain secret. So when all the newspapers are gone, and a minder is listening over your shoulder to every conversation, and those techniques the TSA uses to determine who could be a criminal based on eye movement and forehead sweat are applied to all citizens through cameras in every nook and cranny, then and only then will you be finally free.
