"They were well in their rights to have them taken down..." I'd dispute that. Newsworthy clips from cable news shows fall squarely within my understanding of the fair use doctrine. #cyberwarfare
I've never noticed the embed feature on the FoxNews site before and I've actually looked for it over the years, so maybe the takedown has something to do with them adding that functionality to their player.
Otherwise, I've been somewhat surprised that the fellow has been allowed to upload full episodes of Glenn Beck for so long, especially considering Murdoch's stance on "scraped" content.
Well I guess I will never see another Glenn Beck rant or O'Reilly fuck up cause I sure as hell am not going to watch Fox. I am no Jon Stewart #cyberwarfare

Love it - I've followed the World of Today since you were featured on Gawker so many moons ago...
But I hadn't caught that you were blogging here. Congratulations. Great post. #cyberwarfare
I'm not going to watch Fox and I'm not going to go to right-wing blogs to watch Fox clips.
I guess I'll just have to "miss out" on all that primo content.
Poor me. #cyberwarfare
1. Fox News has its own YouTube channel. If they allow embedding (which they may not), then it's pretty trivial to link to their original videos and just highlight the relevant segments (I'm thinking of splicd.com, but YouTube may have that functionality built into it now too).
2. What are the legal ramifications of hosting these videos on an offshore server? #cyberwarfare
@Claire Buoyant: Yeah, forget Pirate Radio. Let's start Pirate Blogging. Maybe one of those tax haven islands who've lost money thanks to the recession will agree to host pirate blogs. #cyberwarfare
Oh no! Liberal blogs will have to do something else besides make fun of the idiots on Fox News? What will they do now? Actually blog about and spread liberal ideas, instead of continually calling out idiots everyone with half a brain realizes is an idiot already?
The Democrats will surely lose the next election because of this! #cyberwarfare
