Roger I love you and your goofy ways. And the condescending eytloving way Pat Kiernan deals with you.

Gee, Dave, why are you watching NY1? I didn't think they showed that in Connecticut.

Oh, right. Your wife kicked you out and you're at the Roosevelt with Don Draper.

In reply to Seriously, He Just Wanted to Sell Letterman a Screenplay
In Halderman's defense, the idea for the screenplay based on Dave boning the intern was his "B" pitch--his "A" pitch was a biopic of the life of Larry "Bud" Melman starring Jamie Foxx. Dave and his production company, Worldwide Pants, a name we all have come to a, um, deeper understanding of, wisely took a pass. Although come to think of it, maybe "pass" is a poor choice of phrase.... #davidletterman

His plot is working. I'd pay $2 million not to see Dave dicking an intern on the silver screen. #davidletterman

Hey, if Dave testifies in open court, will he bring along Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra to provide rim shots and snide interjections? #davidletterman

This is directly from the movie "The Player." Extortion shrouded in the barely deniable "pitch." Just watch the second to last scene in The Player. #davidletterman

What? Pay me $2million dollars for the rights to this screenplay that I am ABOUT to write, which.. ahem...will out you as an intern fucking, filthy old man.

Hollywood often buys screenplays just to squash them.

    This just might work! #davidletterman

I have a copy of the synopsis he sent to Dave.

"It'll be a story about a late night host named 'Dan Ledderman' who is beloved by everyone, but who secretly has an affair with my live-in girlfriend and then refuses to pay me $1,000,000 and has his brake lines cut. You ruined my life, you son of a bitch. Fade to black."

    Honest misunderstanding. #davidletterman
