    David Lynch's tweet generator:

    1. Quote from the Upanishads
    2. Weather report update
    3. Salutation and/or cordial wish ("Good morning, everyone!"; "Have a nice weekend, Twitter friends!")
    4. Short declarative sentence ("Iceland is a GREAT country"; "Paris is beautiful"; "Rocks are melting.")

I LOVE him. And would give kingdom + horse to spend just one day inside his head.

The best part of David Lynch's tweet is the "You?" at the end. See, that's the kind of detail that separates him from all the other weirdos.

@badasscat: It makes sense in context (sorta): He's been asking everyone to share with him what kind of "projects" they're working on during the weekend.

Treeless is on the right track. There are numerous series of photographs of David Lynch's animal kits. You can find many of them in his book, IMAGES.

I read . . . somewhere (Rolling Stone?) . . . that David Lynch had dissected chickens, had frozen or otherwise preserved their parts, and given them as gifts with careful directions as to how to reassemble.

Perhaps he has mastered chickens, and moved on to fish.

I see Obama still hasn't gotten rid of the damned plates.

I still like pic 1. Imagine Obama opening an eye and giving the portrait of Lincoln a hard-assed stare.

Who's the non-Obama in pic 1? If it's Rahm, he is losing some serious hair up top.

(Why, yes, I am still annoyed he was appointed the Obama Hottie.)

Hey, that room Obama's talking on the phone in ... Isn't that the room where Bill Clinton did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinski?

    I think it is!

They should call it the "cigar room."

    Sigh.

The guy is Rahm Emmanuel. Obama is walking to a press conference, the other guy is announcing him. And the weird blue light is daylight, those are temporary walls covering windows so TV cameras can film.

I got nothin' on the Barton Fink thing, though.
