Other choices: insecurity, goatee...er..."prison pussy"-growing, bumbling, wife-cheating, and playing the hispanic card ad nauseam.

I live in New Mexico currently--in Santa Fe--and yes, it's rumored that Gov. Richardson is a bit of a playboy, but how does that make him any less qualified for his job? See "Bill Clinton."

Anyway, Richardson doesn't matter. I want to know why Obama is keeping Bush and Rice's foreign policy advisors.

Perhaps the question/answer system wasn't specific enough. It sounds like they might have applied a "YES/NO/MAYBE" system without enough blank lines underneath to clarify.

"Rice's foreign policy advisors?"
Like Stephen Hadley??
Or are you confusing Condi for Susan Rice?
If the former, I am going to cry myself to sleep right now.

Idiots. Richardson was possibly the best thing about the new administration.

@somedayarealrainwillcome: It's a scandal that would hurt the Democratic administration by adding to the meme of the "Democratic Culture of Corruption" that the Republicans are building up. The Commerce Secretary is a relatively unimportant cabinet position. Richardson isn't so valuable that the Obama administration should start defending him over possible corruption.
Furthermore, I actually believe in, you know, the law. If Richardson is guilty, he's guilty and he'll get what's coming to him. If he comes out of this clean, there may be a future role for him in the new administration, who knows. I'm not going to dismiss (possible) wrongdoing just because "they all do it." There is a line that most politicians are smart enough not to cross. Time will tell if Richardson crossed that line.
I supported him for president, by the way. Though I never got to vote for him... by the time the contest got to my state, it was down to Clinton and Obama.

If corruption--and the law--was really an issue, Hillary would not be Secretary of State:

Clinton is not under investigation for anything. That's the difference between her and Richardson.

I assure you that political corruption knows no party affiliation.

Don't worry, none of them are having secret gay sex or abusing their office. And if they are, they're secretly Republican - I saw Jim McGreevey kissing Reagan at a Jersey truck stop.
