    Wasn't this a premise to a Woody Allen film??
    No matter, If the giant lobsters taste anything like giant grapes I bought at the store the other day, then, no thanks. Bland and watery, GMO does not act as a flavor booster, and I cannot imagine global warming will either.

    You know someone has to say this, so it might as well be me.

    It's not the size, it's how you use it.

    @raincoaster:

    Does this come from the same place the octopus hat came from? I don't know much, but I know this is art. This is the heart of art.

    @Uncle_Billy_Slumming: It's a Philip Treacy hat he concocted on a dare from Isabella Blow (she dared him to make a hat she wouldn't wear in public; that's her in the pic, so he lost).

    And I stole it from my blog Ayyyy [ayyyy.com]
    for which I stole it from my co-bloggers at Manolo for the Big Girls [manolobig.com]

    Oh, bonus: The Tale of the Pacific Tree Octopus
    [raincoaster.com]
    which has a hat picture in it. So sad,when a species is driven to the edge of extinction by the demands of millinery.

    The problem with bigger "surf" is that you have to match it with bigger "turf," which means bigger cows, which means more methane, which means more warming, which means bigger "surf," which means bigger "turf," which means. . . .

    I can imagine some alien race out there looking in on us and thinking "Global warming's most delicious consequence: supersized humans! Yum!" Or maybe I've watched one two many episodes of the Twilight Zone...

    The list of possible pros of climate change grows! Along with hopefully less expensive lobster meat, there's um...yeah, I guess there's only one item on the pro side. But cheaper lobster, right? Right?!
