    @aurora*raby: They should add to their statements of refusal that Obama looked stuck up anyway and Presidents like him are a dime a dozen so why whatever. He's not even that hot. And then they should call that other guy - what's his face? Not too bright, pretty easy, plenty of time to talk now? Oh yeah - George Bush. They should call him up and see what he's doing. He always wants to hang out.

    That was Gerry Levin. Parsons came in and tried to clean up the mess. The TWX stock price didn't rise, but it's not really budging with Jeff Bewkes either.

    @Bellyboop: Parsons was at TW at the time of the merger and was one of the few to survive the whole debacle. Prior to that he had been on Nelson Rockefeller's staff, which, unlike Rockefeller's secretary, probably didn't include fucking Nelson.
