I'm assuming this is the firehouse on West 3rd Street to which the silver-haired CNN anchor and his boyfriend are rumored to be moving. The building was sold in September this year for $4.3m. Anderson Cooper isn't listed as the buyer. But the name on the deed is Carolyn Rossip Malcolm, a money manager to other celebrities such as Jennifer Connelly and Ethan Hawke.

From the listing: "This 1906 8,420-square-foot four-story former Greenwich Village firehouse still has its original brass poles, circular stairs and herringbone brick floor, as well as a two-story detached building once used as a stable." If this is indeed AC's new residence, it's an impressively bold choice. The CNN newsman has opened himself up to years of blog and gossip column tittering about his huge pole.
Speaking of which, any skilled photoshop artist feel like mocking up a firemen's calendar featuring the firehouse's new owner and his appropriately beefy boyfriend?

Are you going to start posting photos with map links for the homes of other news people gay and straight? Cooper isn't even close to the most widely watched one on TV. #andersoncooper

Are you planning to post pics and map links to homes not in gated estates belonging to other news people both gay and straight? Do you have a justification for intruding this much on Cooper alone when he's far from the most watched news personality? #andersoncooper

You asked also about consistency. Yes, we are consistently nosy. For instance, here are satellite photos of Lou Dobbs' estate in New Jersey.

And I am genuinely surprised that no one has said anything about cock size. Because, you know, queens talk.

It IS kind of amazing Gawker is devoting so much effort to tracking the personal life of a news person who isn't on top in ratings and sure isn't the only glass closet case on air in the industry. Can we expect a full dossier with pics, GPA scores and personality references for the dates of the rest of cable news' personalities? #andersoncooper

It's the totally unfounded constant scowling glare at the camera that makes the man impossible to watch for more than half a minute (just referred to this in separate post);
his mother is some sort of socialite biggie so CNN probably thinks that makes up for everything. #andersoncooper

The last thing I wanted to hear was my two not-so-secret crushes are hooking up. I'm picking up vodka on the way home. See what you make me do? #andersoncooper
