I'd like to see the reaction when the $1K mini-elephant comes out. I, for one, will be bankrupt.

@ms_priestypants: Oh, I want a mini elephant! Have you seen the mini donkey though? Much more affordable and can be used for hauling around tiny amounts of luggage.

The part about the Corddry thing that sticks with me is who the hell vacuums in New York? All the apartments I see have wood and/or tile floors.

@VoxPopuli: Most nyc leases include a clause about covering a certain percentage of your floor (often 80%) with carpeting or rugs. A few tenants actually follow this.

@lackadaisical: I know, it's in my lease too, but I hadn't seen someone actually follow that clause.

I found the Rob Corddry thing funny but uncomfortable. Mindy Kaling tends to be funny and sometimes outrageous. Sarah Silverman as well.

Sometimes twitter gives me TMI about people and I never quite look at them the same way again. The Corddry thing will stay with me a while.

In reply to The Twitterati Are Humbled by a Bollywood Martini
This feature could be so much more entertaining if you selected tweets that were actually funny or interesting, instead of ones designed to showcase how boring and lame Twitter is. Diablo Cody's Twitter is occasionally amusing, for example. But I guess that might encourage people to stray from Gawker and explore other forms of frivolous procrastination. Tough call.

@Mount_Prion: I couldn't see it either at first, but now I think this feature is fricking hilarious.

Possibly it helps that this is my only exposure to The 140-Character-Based Website That Dare Not Speak Its Name.

I can't believe I know that the PB&J Martini-making 'she' refers to Sandra Lee.

@the supergoddess: oh dear: the semi-palatable chef who matches her dishware to the seasons. I'd rather eat the sprouty things on my taters.
