    You know, I've never actually seen an exit pollster. How do we know they even exist?


    I'll bet they spend all of Election Day in a bar somewhere snorting cocaine with Jayson Blair, and when the polls close they phone in whatever figure seems halfway plausible.

    Exit polls always have Dems ahead. Exit polls had Kerry walking away in '04.

    In additon, the primary exit polls overstated Obama's performances by about 7 percent on average.

    Plus the PUMA's have been encouraged to either decline exit polling or lie and say they voted for Obama, in order to make his supporters reel even more if they lose.

    Gonna be a long night.

    bbc said early poll do not matter because part of state that like mccain in virginia may report earlier than part that do not like him

    Missouri will zig zag because early reporting is from the (blue) cities and the (redneck) outlying areas come in late. It will def go from blue to red, but where it ultimately goes will take time.

    Pollster has already made fun of you for posting these numbers (along with Sludge) , but they look tight. I'm glad the NC Godless One may beat Liz.

    Ye gods, if I have to look at Sarah Palin's every time I pick up a newspaper or turn on my computer - forget moving to Canada, I'm going off the GRID. Somewhere like eastern-most Russia. Where I can keep an eye on Alaska.

    NC had unrestricted early voting. And the folks REALLY turned out in NC. No need to panic just yet.


    PA is frustrating me, though. They had no early voting. So, maybe it depends upon when and where they took the poll.
