My mom was in a hospital ICU this weekend (she's ok now). There was an older black man in the room next door and he was quite ill and intubated. A large group of his family came into the room and he got agitated and indicated he wanted a pen and paper. Everyone was expecting him to write "water" or something. He wrote VOTE.
