I think the new favicon looks like they're trying too hard. The plain blue g looks better.

Alright, that's the final straw. I am unsubscribing from the Wag. Your support for this abomination of a favicon shows that you've lost any relevance you may have had under the new regime. Owen, you should be ashamed of yourself.

There's something very kindergarten-y about the new Google logo. Gawker's at least looks like Abstract Expressionism, which is a good excuse when someone tells you his kid could have done that.

Yes, the whole thing was extremely jarring at first: I initially thought that Google had been hijacked by a group of hackers with a penchant for bold color schemes.
