    I still hate Bush, I still love Obama, and terrorists are still illogical and unnegotiable. This latest attack doesn't change much. It's incredibly sad, but we can't spend another decade letting terrorists define the world.


    Obama will still win over the hearts and minds of most of the 99.9% of the prople who aren't terrorists, and that still counts for something.

    I'm not going to read all this nonsense, but if you're really putting things like "alleged muslims" in the article you're a pussy. Also, if you ever pretended to not be American while abroad you should be forced to give up your citizenship. I never got that. I notified people of my American citizenship in places like Vietnam and Sudan, and all I got were requests to sneak people back to America in my suitcases. Settle down, liberals. Waaaahhh, they hate us. Travel outside the upper west for five minutes, you'll realize the truth.

    @MisterHippity: No, that would be funny! Just for the record: I work with Indians and Pakistanis in an office about three hours from Mumbai by plane. I just spoke to a French businessman who got out of the hotel by jumping form a second floor window, heading to the airport, and getting one for the last flights out back home to civilized Paris.


    My Subconty colleague don't mind my fatalism -- since we've been doing nothing but watching this shit unfold for the past three days, indeed making each other laugh with out comments. One guy, a Muslim Indian, said: The West is always ready to blame Muslims when this happens. Another guy, a Hindu Indian, said "yes, that's why they released Muslims and rounded up the Westerners -- because the Hindus did it to make the Muslims look bad, right?"


    So it's been a barrel of laughs -- sorry if it's "too soon" laugh for people in New York City. . . 8,000 miles away from ground zero.
