    She's the anti-Christ.

She's the anti-Christ in really bad maternity wear.

In reply to Sarah Palin Continues Her Brutal War on the Media
I'm sorry - no politician in US History has taken as many punches as this woman. That includes George W., Cheney, Nixon, and Quayle.

It is ridiculous, considering what a short time she has been on the scene and how little influence she has. (Where as W. and Cheney did all the actual damage).

It is because she is a woman. Period. And a pretty one at that. If she were just another conservative man like Huckabee, no one would notice her.

I am not saying I agree with her…but the vitriol sent her way is so disproportionate it is almost pathologic.

And another thing…if Hillary Clinton had been born a man she would have been President years ago.

I do not encourage women to get involved in national politics. They will find a reason to hate you no matter who you are or what side you are on. Especially other women. FACT.

She will cry too much. She will cry too little. She will dress too sexy. She will be a fat ass in pantsuits. Is she really a dyke? Is she power hungry? She uses her husband! Blah blah blah.

And those of you who say you would vote for a woman just not one like Clinton or Palin (polar opposites)...you are either liars or really, really, really choosy.

@FritzIno: Ah, bullshit. She's two jumps away from the most loathsome trend in American politics in our lifetimes: using evangelical Christianity to take over local school boards and municipalities and injecting partisan politics into those realms where they absolutely do not belong.

And just so you know, had Huckabee been nominated instead of her, I would have been every bit as alarmed, not only because he, like Palin, thinks it's every bit the reasonable position to supplant the Constitution with "God's Law," but also because he's a rapist-pardoning douchebag whose oldest son got busted torturing and killing small animals.

But the fact is, Huck wasn't nominated. Palin was. Had McCain won, she would have been one melanoma or blown gasket away from being President, and she was as singularly unqualified for that position as any VP candidate since Spiro Agnew.

I've got nothing but contempt for Palin, but it has nothing to do with the fact that she's a woman. She is an egotistical bigot and a lying sack of shit.

@Mediahohoho: I second your bullshit call. Palin's sex has nothing to do with why she is such a loathsome example of a politician.

And as for the allegation that "no US politician in US History has taken as many punches as this woman"...REALLY??? I think an assassinated Abraham Lincoln and an impeached Bill Clinton might disagree with on that, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Go to an wingnut website and I guarantee you more specious allegations are being lobbed at Obama--he's a Muslim, he's a terrorist, he's not a U.S. citizen, he's a "thug." Just calling Palin a narcissistic, manipulative, and unintelligent politician rather pales in comparison to those doozies.

@FritzIno: @Mediahohoho: I have to third this bullshit call. Fact is, Sarah P. and her purdy, bespectacled face got a lot of "passes" in the beginning. If a man, ANY MAN, had behaved as ridiculously bad as she had in the media spotlight, had as much questionable baggage haunting them from their tenure as mayor of a small, fly-speck of a town on a map, and had a legacy of overturning legislature during their tenure(s) in office to reflect their personal opinions (not the good of their constituency) that MAN would not have been given the mileage this dipshit has.

@FritzIno: Wow, at first I thought this was thinly veiled sarcasm.

This woman doesn't get ragged because she's a woman. Palin is criticized because she's deeply and profoundly ignorant, which doesn't seem to bother her at all. Her awful, incoherent interviews, her failure to know basic facts about the workings of government, and her utter stupidity? It's the media's fault.

It really irks me when women who face legitimate criticism over their statements/policies/actions blame such criticism on their gender. All that does is to deflect the substantive, larger issues being debated. Palin has perfected this to an art form. This woman wouldn't know substance if it shot her overhead from a helicopter.

You are missing my point. Any woman in the universe you and the others here and everyone in the country for that matter would find a reason to hate or not to vote for. The shrill voice. The wrinkles. Clothes that are too dowdy. Clothes that are too expensive. The way she pimps out her children. Or if she has no children.

The sad thing is you just can't admit it. Palin has not done anything to me or you personally. She ran against the popular candidate and was way out of her league and over her head. She is not president and never will be. So all this pathological hating on her by people who value "Substance" and "Substansive, larger issues" I will never know. Because she is not a substantive issue in any way, shape, or form. So just GET OVER IT AND FORGET HER.

Being disgusted with Palin does not equal being disgusted with all women in politics overall.

So listen guys. Don't you really just want to give Alaska to Canada? We're great. We understand snow and ice and everyone knows snowmobiles and we all like hunters and all love fishing. So just... c'mon. Give it to us. It's not really making you happy, and we get along better with Russians than you do. They still drink us under the table but we're good humoured about it.
