I said it when this first happened and it still applies: the closest thing to a witch doctor in America today is a neurosurgeon. Ask anyone who has ever been tinkered with by one.
@Mediahohoho: You mean the specialty that requires the most training of all doctors? The one that treated my herniated disc, and saved my father from a brain tumor?
@NotSafeForLife: Your mileage may vary. I was referring to the one that obliterated my sister's short-term memory when it went in looking for her seizure disorder.
At any rate, I doubt this clown practices any kind of medicine. He's a shill for the insurance companies and it's paid lobbying organization, the Republican party.
P.S. I'm glad your father was saved from a brain tumor and I hope your back continues to feel better.
Is it only conservative groups that use names that mean the opposite of what they say? Doctors for Patient Freedom = Doctors for Doctor Incomes. Consumers for Health Care Choices = People Who Don't Want You to Be Able To Choose a Public Option. National Organization for Marriage = National Organization Against Marriage.
I think the only person that sounds even remotely sane in all of this is Rob Neppell, who sounds like one of those white-elephant "rational Conservatives" who wants all this race-baiting left out of the debate. I'd bet he even has cost concerns and a legitimate conscience regarding the deficits his children will have to pay. But a better bet is available: that pyschotic assholes like Cliff Scandlen and David McKalip will completely drown him out.
The president of the United States is subject to constant ridicule. While it would have been quite funny to photoshop Obama's face onto the Pope or Donny Osmond, it wouldn't work because he is BLACK so every single photoshop that looks good is going to be of his face on a black body of some kind.
The quantity of forwards I received from Bush's administration, Clinton's administration etc..etc.. far exceed what has been published so far of Obama and a lot of them were extremely offensive.
This entire controversy represents exactly what is wrong with race in america.... I don't believe that the photo was supposed to be a comment about his RACE so much as the fact that they felt his medical policies were not inline with their views.
Every one of my black friends thought it was a funny photo, none of them were offended... so why is our politically correct nation so upset?
@TyneEspionate: Suggestion: Photoshop a photo of any one of your black friends (you probably don't have very many if you don't understand why this is offensive) or one of his/her kids or close relatives onto a random picture of an African* tribesman, send it to him/her, and notice whether he/she found it offensive.
*Actually, I think the picture above may have been originally of a New Guinea shaman.
@atlasfugged: You're missing his original point. It only works to paste black heads on black bodies. And we all know the only black bodies that have ever been photographed are witch doctors, slaves and minstrel show performers. Duh.
Once again, crazed liberal PC Nazis are focused on all the wrong things. Instead of loving America, supporting Real Americans and harassing turban-wearing tearrists in malls and restaurants, you actually attack and defame a courageous Real American who had the testicular fortitude to issue a minor criticism of the all-time worst African Nazi dictator evar?
Name one African Nazi who was even a little worse. Just one. That's right. You can't, filthy liberals. Booyah! B.Hussein Obama is the worst African Nazi of all time! All time!
To protest this public humiliation of this great martyr of the First Amendment by PC bullies, Archangel Mikey and I have a contest to see who can can come up with the best reason for why brave patriot David McKalip is not a racist.
Ex: David McKalip is not a racist because that's actually a picture of himself in a Halloween costume.
@God: Are you: 1) a troll, 2) being over-the-top sarcastic, or 3) a fucking idiot? Because your absurd use of the word "Nazi" in your post displays the same level of intelligence as the mouthbreather I had to sit next to in 7th grade who drew swastikas on his sneakers because he thought they "looked cool."
@yojeezy: Duh. Silly blasphemer. Don't you know the almighty Lord can use the word "Nazi" any way He pleases when He sprinkles His witty comments on teh intarnets? They're his creation, after all. And, what did you expect? That God was some politically-correct liberal like Satan?
I just fired a property management company who was overseeing some apartments my aunt owns.
When I walked into their office, they had that picture sitting on the receptionist desk.
I took a picture of it. Do you think there could be some legal ramifications for them having this in their office?
@robotwaste: Your local NAACP office would be quite interested. As would your local independent newspaper. Also, it's not just black renters who could have been offended. Anyone with a conscience would be offended, whether they're Latino or Middle-eastern or Caucasian.
@robotwaste: To be quite frank, if I walked into a professional office and saw that picture in a place of honor, I would walk right back out. And then I would tell all of my friends to avoid that place of business. So, yes, I think it's entirely possible it cost you business.
Hell, I still won't go to Wendy's because they pulled their ads from Ellen after she came out.
@Lymed: The company has freedom of speech, and they couldn't be prosecuted merely for having that up, but it seems a fairly telltale indication of how likely they are to be in violation of Fair Housing Laws.
@Lymed: You seem not to understand the meaning of the terms legally, parody, or freedom of speech. Though you're all right with company and, let's see, it and and.
Hey Gawker Tech: Parsing string values. Learn it. The fucking truncation doesn't even correspond to the width of the display element, so why the sloppy string handler? (And don't tell me it works like a charm on Hindi displays.)
@Sarcastro: That's cool. Eventually, professional athletes and their owners will be the only ones with viable health care of any kind. And we can watch them kill each other on the Jumbotron.
That's like apologizing for saying "nigger" to the wrong person. This woman believes black people are objects of ridicule and satire and WE'RE the fucking elitists because we make fun of her for that?
Following the logic of "highly respected" and starred commenters over at Jezebel, since Sherry Goforth is a female and Obama is a male, and thus privileged, Sherry cannot be faulted for lashing out at her oppressor. It doesn't matter that it's hypocritical.
@Ohcaptainmycaptain: I think you picked the wrong post to insult your imaginary straw-friends. The only thing funny on this is the retard next to the pair of cartoon eyes at the end.
