    Am I completely humorless for cringing a bit at the "gay old man" joke? Face it, Glenn Beck is gaining a scary amount of sway over some of our relatives. We need to fight crazy with facts, not creative slurs.

    @Sev: Seriously. He wasn't worried about the Patriot Act when people were being warrantless wiretapped and whisked away to secret prisons without trial, much like he didn't care about the "White House Council on Environmental Quality" until the oil industry lobbyists had left the building.

Moderate Republicans (basically the ones that vote Republican to protect their bank accounts, as opposed to the 'values voters' who are so blinded by jeezus that they continually vote against their own interests) know this guy is a complete fucking moron.

    @misslinda: Oh, definitely. I think many people believe him to be an utter loon, but those who aren't sure or who have become fascinated with the lunacy, concern me. I think many who fall into this category need an explanation, other than race, for why they don't like Obama, and Beck, who seems to have an unending array of explanations like, "The Black Man, birthed from the devil, and shipped from Babblecookiecakes was sent to destroy us all!" justifies their reasoning in its complete dumbfuckery.
