I saw the Invention of Lying last night. it was god awful. I left half-way through, came home to watch Extras, and forgave Gervais for that monstrosity and $12.50 I had just wasted.

I saw a preview screening of Zombieland and it rocked, even though Jesse Eisenberg seemed to be doing a dead-on Michael Cera impression throughout the movie. Very funny, very clever, and with the best title sequence since Duplicity (though, unlike Duplicity, the rest of the film is actually good, too).

One of the Coens signed the "Free Roman" petition, I believe, so I won't be seeing THAT movie.

@dolemite1975: Ugh, seriously? There aren't enough good movie selections out there as is, let alone with a Hollywood blacklist.

I figure these celebs were friends of Polanski's and are too partial to make a fair assessment of this situation. Boycott Polanski, but we shouldn't hold it against his friends.

Still not sure how I feel about the phrase "directed by Drew Barrymore."

"A 'researched' decides to study mens' desires in a series of taped interviews"? You're so busted, LOL! You've clearly never read the book nor have seen the movie.

@snugbug: i may have mis-spelled but i have indeed seen the movie and as much as a point was discernible, thats what it seemed like it was about to.
