Stupid CNN and their magic screen. And, uh, dibs on not having to deal with the "1st generation" versions of all that technogarbage. Especially the retinal scanner thing. I like my eyes, and 1G never works right.
How close are we to full artificial intelligence implantation in microchip form, so that we'll all not know how to read, write, or spell? I think we're nearly there. I haven't had to write or remember a phone number since 1997. My cell phone dialed my office and came in to work for me today.
I can't wait for technology that lets me make phone calls just by putting my hand in that "phone" position (thumb and pinky extended) and bringing it to my ear and mouth
@Cheap Shot: Can you not foresee class rooms and offices full of people making floaty drawings of boobies and pee-pees? I know that's what I would do. Besides the latest advancements for porn consumption, I want to find out the new ways I can imagine killing all the annoying people that will be using these new devices instead of paying attention to driving or just sitting on public transportation and behaving politely. ARGH! The Microsoft future really annoyed me.
Hamilton, how could you miss the hoverboard in 1989's Back To The Future II? I'm floating above the small pool in the town square right... whooooops! KERSPLASH!!!
Actually, AT&T was more right than wrong. Bell labs was instrumental in the development of all of those technologies (they had an early precursor of video conferencing up and running in the late 70's).

So you could touch a cornstalk and see a little plus or minus sign?
Groovy.
