    Diverging slightly, in your land, is a 'prat' not a term used to describe an obnoxious, annoying bucket of rancid pus? Because here in Australia, we often say "don't be such a prat" to such a person. So, to hear these two referred to as 'The Pratts' is just perfect.

    I've asked this elsewhere, but have yet to receive a convincing answer... What implications does oinky flu have for those who are forbidden for reasons of religious doctrine from consuming pork? If eating it is bad, how much worse would it be to have a mutant virus derived from said oinker coursing through one's fevered blood?


    PS - is Speidi really in Cancun? Because that would be too priceless. And if that photo of them wandering waveside adorned with facemasks is genuine, it might just be the most perfect example of attention-whoredom I've ever seen.

    @DevilsAvocado: I am pretty sure it is transmitted human to human, and the virus was originally spread from pig to human. I don't think eating pork is any risk, from what I gather.

    I'm slightly more concerned about the plight of Wild Salmon (and thousands of other species) than I am Homo Sapiens


    I DO hope that this changes the way Pork producers conduct business and handle their animals!
