    Here's what Palin posted on her Facebook page today, apparently nervous that she yammered something she shouldn't have during the interview and trying to backtrack:

    Voters have every right to ask candidates for information if they so choose. I’ve pointed out that it was seemingly fair game during the 2008 election for many on the left to badger my doctor and lawyer for proof that Trig is in fact my child. Conspiracy-minded reporters and voters had a right to ask... which they have repeatedly. But at no point – not during the campaign, and not during recent interviews – have I asked the president to produce his birth certificate or suggested that he was not born in the United States.

    Notice that she says SHE never asked for the birth certificate, she never says that she didn't encourage the booger eating morons who are asking for it. Nice try, Palin, but you're still only two clicks brighter than a turnip.

Good lord, I hope she runs, and wins the nomination, and gets real tough on the "issues" like whether Obama is a radical anti-American-Christian-Muslim-Extremist-from-Indonesia-or-Kenya. I love it that conservatives keep repeating this talking point about liberals being "afraid" of Sarah. I love Sarah! I might even campaign for her. She's Obama's best chance at re-election. Unfortunately, I think Matt Taibbi did a good job of showing that the Republican Party is already aware of this, and is actively trying to ditch her.
    P.S. When will Gawker recruit Taibbi? He seems like a perfect fit.

The GOP might just try to stir up a cause to get her in office so we can have the first female president and then have another puppet administration.
