    Hodgman regularly receives a paycheck from both the Daily Show and the Apple ad agency, among others. Because he is very funny. If that doesn't make him a "professional comedian," I don't know what does.

    @92BuickLeSabre: I thought the very last book, Children of Dune was a bit weaker than the first two. We're probably better off that Herbert stopped there. It might have devolved into an increasingly misogynistic and violent morass of money-grubbing sleaze.

    On the other hand, Justin Long's dramatic, and very slow, reading of My Pet Goat for Shrub last year was just painful.
