    I had many patients have electroshock therapy while working at therapy (had to transfer to other hospitals for this procedure though). IT IS NOT LIKE IN THE MOVIES. It's surgery, they put you out, and it's a miracle cure for many. A small percentage lose memories from the previous several months, like 5-15%.

    Yay Carrie! Hilarious. (I just realized "Yay Carrie" sounds like I'm rooting for a SATC character, and I'm so, SO not. Carrie Fisher really has to reclaim the coolness and funniness - which is what I think she does here.)

    @themediatrix: a steroid and immunosuppressant that makes you puff up like one of those sponges that, when dropped in water, expands to a thousand times its previous size.

    @themediatrix: she has obvious bloat from antipsychotic/mood stabilizer medication which is used to treat difficult manic depression. Anti depressants DO NOT cause this bloat. It's probably from Depakote. I saw it often when I worked at Bellevue.
