It's also another case of tech insiders who think that the products they are attracted to will actually succeed in the market. Sorry, but even if the CrunchPad is released and kind of cool, no one is going to buy it, because it doesn't fill any sort of market need. Whose going to spend $x00 on a touch screen browser when that money could go toward a better laptop or phone? Stupid.

On the dreaded (and dreadful) LIRR, a bunch of scampy rapscallions with X-acto knives and glue *love* to vandalize the advertisements. They'll cut out a pro athlete's face and glue it on Katie Couric's body, or put Heidi Klum's face at an angle that makes it look like she's giving Maury Povich a hummer. (And he's totally auf.)

I admit to giggling - but I blame them for this.

Owen, there's always a source that will steer you the wrong way, as you doubt no doubt know by now.

If this is the same source as last time (which I'm guessing it is-- and how did some of the comments there turn out?), sounds like someone has an axe to grind and you're causing he or she some smiles at how easy you are to manipulate.

Another day of yelling heads on C-N-B-WWE, another Valleywag post.

Seriously, tho', Owen, the other commenters have a point. Maybe it's time for you guys to do a VidBlog special and go on the attack. The whole GE "news is entertainment" hegemony needs to be taken down a notch, not that you asked.

I'm sure he deserves all of whatever you're dishing out here. But you two aren't Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons. If you have something to accuse him or CNBC of, why not stop this coy blogging and take it to the mainstream media, or an authority?

It's like the same article is being reposted every two days on this topic.
