I call Fake Trend. I know plenty of pregnant women right now. This is like the supposed "9/11 Baby Boom" that actually never materialized (thanks to Susan Faludi for tracking down that data and noting it!).Reply
There are five years between my sister and me not because my parents wanted us spaced far apart, but because it's what their personal income dictated. I was a grad school mistake (true story: my parents put me on three different credit cards, including a Shell Gas card, to get me out of the hospital), so they waited until my mom was working at a university hospital with great insurance coverage before even thinking about trying for another kid.Reply
I thought this episode was good considering Heroes's recent record, but it had one huge disappointment for me: Going back to the time travel well. I love time travel but it is so overused on this show. I thought that taking Hiro's time travel power away was a bold move to prevent the series from ever going back to that well. And what do they do? Not only do they give Hiro his power back, but they add *another* time traveller. Fortunately it seems that one will die off soon, though probably not before helping retread the "we must change the future" schtick that they've already beat to death.Reply
If capitalism is so horrible Mr Moore then how did you get so rich?
You can't sell yourself as a capitalist and then turn around and tell everyone that capitalism is wrong.
I'm sure you're doing it for the cause correct, and not the money you make.Reply
Strangelove in a coat...
I could never figure our whether Kojima ripped off Hollywood with Policenauts and Snatcher or if he was paying a kind of tribute to them. Both, I guess.Reply

I've found citronella geraniums almost impossible to kill provided they get direct light at least part of the day. They love warmth and dry air--hello office--and have a sort of fresh spicy scent. Plus, citronella. So the mosquito population in my cubicle is way down.Reply
Wow. "Ignorant" must be a condition you are familiar with. I live in the South and I have never met a person who truly believed in vampires as a reality. Yes, a lot of people, and not just in the South, believe in ghosts and Jesus. Sweeping generalizations SUCK. Reply
