    I was driving through my city's down town the night of the midnight premiere and I couldn't figure out why all of these women were dressed as Britney Spears circa Baby One More Time. And then I saw one with a fake owl and realized it was Harry Potter night.

    My friends and I made Pumpkin Pasties, Licorice Wands, and Chocolate Frogs, all downed with homemade rum-soaked delicious butterbeer. It feels good to still be able to thoroughly and unabashedly enjoy something you discovered 13 years ago.

    This 24-year-old genuinely loves Harry Potter. Also, last night, I was watching Order of the Phoenix with the boyf, who had never seen it before, and during the scene where Umbridge has everyone writing lines for punishment, he exclaimed, "See, this is why torture doesn't work! It just makes everyone hate you!"

    No bullshit, I saw a group of college students playing an unironic game of Quidditch out on the quad about a year ago. It was pretty awesome.

    @SwissMister: They play Quidditch on Boston Common. I commend their creativity, but it looks alot less fun than it does in the movies.
