Beck attacks some low-level appointee. Significant numbers of people look into the unknown target of Beck's wrath and because they're actually doing the research theirself, then they're less likely to agree with Beck and a prime candidate to buy the book.
If it weren't for that pesky boycott, NewsCorp would be making money, hand over foot.
Is Nick Douglas looking somewhat more attractive in that above photo? I must say, print media money looks good on you. If only it had the same effect for Malcolm Gladwell.
The irony is that Nick's book made a lot of publishers my agent contacted take a "wait and see" attitude. Even though I'm doing something completely different. So in that sense, I wish Nick's book much, much success.
Most twits don't bother to read tweets except lovingly re-reading their own. What makes these nit-wits think twits are going to buy and read a book of tweets?
well, i think this is some great marketing. if i had been chosen to be in the book i'm pretty sure i'd be bragging about it all over the place. which is precisely what i'm going to do when jess & blakeley's book comes out in october. get ready.

We'd also like to beat Glenn Beck.
And after that, beat his book on the bestseller list.
