Julian Assange took some time from his busy television production schedule to leak internal emails the hacktivist collective Anonymous had stolen from a private intelligence firm. The leak is lame, but the new Wikileaks-Anonymous publishing partnership might prove promising.

In a typically nasty personal-political combo, Anonymous has leaked thousands of private emails belonging to a retired California cybercrime investigator named Fred Bacalagan, in what they say is payback for the recent Occupy Wall Street crackdown.

Dissident members of the internet hacktivist group Anonymous, tired of what they call the mob's "unpatriotic" ways, have provided law enforcement with chat logs of the group's leadership planning crimes, as well as what they say are key members' identities. They also gave them to us.
