    @Itsjustcatnip: I was thinking the same thing - it is too late. No director wants to work with her becauseu of her lousy work ethic, she looks awful, and she has so much "baggage". There are a million other actresses out there. She was given a golden opportunity and she shredded it.


    If I had folks like that, maybe I would have done the same, but really - she was the "It" girl for quite a while, and now is basically a parasite (no pun intended on Miss Hilton, who at least gets paid for appearances).

    @Itsjustcatnip: Exactly. Now she is an addict, chainsmoker, losing her looks, and with no paying work in sight. And she's what? 21? This won't end well.


    @jobsworth: It's not like she was ever going to do "The Cherry Orchard" or go to Cannes. But she had movie roles, TV cameo appearances, worked with Robert Altman, etc. A damn sight more than 99% of the actresses who come to L.A. get.

    @FormerEnglishMajor: Wait, wait, wait. Hold the phone here. She's 21 you say, right? And she chain smokes, enjoys some chemical stimulation, has no job and experiments with sexuality? Gee, if that meant a horrible future then half the people I knew in college are screwed. And they weren't in any film in the Herbie franchise....

    @Scryb3: You had the operative word right there "college". Lindsay is, basically, uneducated. She HAS no other options.


    And "enjoys some chemical stimulation" is a far cry from being a coke addict who's been to rehab multiple times. Unfair comparison!
