@Ally Link: Definitely not--I was not a fan, and had no idea she was scheduled to stay on for as long as she is. I'm sure she's a lovely girl, but if we're supposed to buy her as a sexy, skilled actress, maybe she should actually try being a sexy, skilled actress.
I hate to say this but GG jumped the shark last night
Serena's hair looked sloppy
Blair's makeup looked dated
You can tell that 'Kate' had her own makeup and hair crew work on her
Nate and Chuck are blah
You know it sucks when you are happy to see Dorota.
Maybe I'm pissed there was no Georgina last night...
@Baroness: I was watching Law and Order: Criminal Intent the other night and I couldn't figure out why one of the actresses looked so familiar. It was Dorota! (Zuzanna Szadkowski-- I looked up her name).
This will probably cost me my star but...I don't really like this new format of recapping Gossip Girl episodes. I much prefer Richard's long winded diatribes and all of the great nicknames for the cast and actions associated with them. Anyone agree?
The only thing that salvaged this episode was the ending. Oh, and it looks like next week’s episode is going to be awesome. I’m glad Georgina will be outing Lily and Rufus’ biological son at their wedding.
Serena's wardrobe last night implied that someone told her Armageddon was coming and the only way to survive was to consistently dress like she was auditioning for a Robert Palmer video. Ugh, ugh, ugh.
Also, last night made me really sad, because I realized that when Tyra Banks does those stupid little scenes on ANTM, that's actually her "acting."
Really, the best part of last night's Gossip Girl was getting to read a Jem/Jerrica reference in today's recap. Eighties Cartoon References by Brian Moylan: +472
@DahlELama: I agree about her ANTM theatrics. I honestly think her acting last night was far worse than Blake Lively's, which is saying a lot. And I wish she wouldn't. Say a lot, that is.
Simon Cowell is worth $144 million? They can't find someone else to spew insults, regardless of the on-stage talent, that are researched beforehand and have all the spontaneity of a space shuttle launch? Please.
@ShanghaiLil: No, a company called CkX owns all the Idol franchises, and it's run by Robert Sillerman, the nasty douche who used to run SFX the concert promoters.

Although Tv.com doesn't call Nate Archibald "Natalie", and doesn't talk about Jenny's hair being lengthened, shortened, and lengthened again.

I think it's great that in Gossip Girl's world, a terrifying tranny can become a big movie star.

Years ago at a meeting, he told me he changed his name to Robert FX Sillerman, with the "FX" standing for "F***'ing Excellent". He re-defined pompous.
