    Actually I blame Richard Heene for all of this. He's the attention whore, not so much her. She is so incredibly passive (which is probably why he chose her to begin with) that she's more of a passive participant rather than one to "deliberately threw her child into the middle of a self-generated media shitstorm."

    Not excusing her, but it's really fucked up of the dad/husband to let it get so far as for her to be possibly deported because of all this. He's the one who needs to be punished fully out of all of this. And she needs to be away from him as much as the kids do. Seriously, almost everyone else interviewed who knew them just walked away from his bullshit but her - because she pretty much can't. I would like to see her as much as an abuse victim as those kids are, unable to defend themselves from his special crunchy sort of batshittery. #balloonboy

    Biden was the most inscrutable choice, ever, for VP. Instead of "change" Obama brought out an old hack, who had trouble with both truth telling, even during the campaign, and with inserting his foot into his mouth. Oh, to know what kind of negotiation that was, to get him on the ticket---except, perhaps to allay terrified old white guys who feared a woman and a (half)black man on the ticket would bring on the apocalypse. #joebiden

    Joe Biden is everything thats wrong and fucked up with congress. This dope won his seat in the Senate when he was 29 and has never had another job until being VP. He has learned about as much about how the country works from his perch in DC as Palin learned about Russia from staring at it. He is walking proof we need term limits.

I should have added before that it could well be my OS and browser causing headaches most readers don't experience.     @Mediahohoho: Glenn Beck's lived a tragic life. His mother may or may not have committed suicide. After she died, he was raised by the father who divorced his mother years earlier. After a few years, his stepbrother committed suicide. He immediately left home when he turned eighteen. I feel sorry for the tough luck he's had, but I wish he would lighten up a little and stop pointing fingers. I pity him. #glennbeck

But the amount of money he's taking right now to create a fantasy world of martyrdom on behalf of some of the most entitled corporate interests in America--and against the best interests of the truly downtrodden and disenfranchised people he appeals to and for which he claims to speak--pretty much negate all the sympathy I might otherwise have for him. He knows what he's doing, and he's probably going to get the President killed. #glennbeck
