    I finally figured out the socks thing. He didn't take them off because he has varicose veins and they're compression stockings that keep his ankles from blowing up, which could be embarassing if not lethal were someone's head between them at the time.

    Isn't prostitution still illegal in NY and DC, making acknowledgment of procurement of a prostitute a crime? At the very least, he should suffer sanction from the NY Bar Association, if he hasn't already.

    @BaconEggnCheese: Actually, that makes me feel badly for him. He screwed up, big time, and deserves to have his career ruined, but should he be forever ridiculed? At what level of stupid do you deserve perpetual rebuke? And what kind of noises does he make while getting it on?

    @Unfun: If he hadn't been such a sanctimonious prick, then maybe he'd deserve some level of restraint. But I find it delicious that his own style - ruin the lives and careers of people through very public mudslinging and accusations and then fail to ever actually press charges for any wrongdoing - is now being used on him.
