    A+ call on illustrating this with a photo of Marc Jacobs and his househusband! Though I'm puzzled as to why the latter is wearing accessorizing a suit and skinny tie with woolly hiking socks, and further intrigued by what kind of shoes he could possibly be wearing below-frame.

    so this is gonna be a show about a group of gay men, or a show about a group of married/partnered gay men? i hate hate hate the latter concept. what have gay men come to? just aping their straight, tired, boring, bourgeois counterparts i guess. i know it's done now among the "a gays" but a television show is another nail in the coffin of what used to be an identity. go ahead, get married. i'm happy for you. i get it -- it's about rights and all that. but what about the theater of it all? i'm afraid culture is just a corporate-owned mish mash of garbage and now we're losing the gays, too. be careful what you wish for. i know that fault lines are everywhere in gay culture, but i'm afraid we're headed towards two very distinct classes of gays -- those that are accepted as normal because they choose to get married and those of us that want no part of that broken, archaic, sexist institution.

    just my opinion.

    @spotted-dog: For the record, I am a straight female and I agree with you 100% that marriage is a broken, archaic and sexist institution. What else can be said about a ritual that was founded on trading your daughter for two goats and bushel of wheat?
    But as soon as ikea and their corporate ilk discovered two male incomes = more discretionary spending, and that Ellen can endorse credit cards, your peoples have been assimilated. Is that really so terrible?

    RHOC (Real Homosexuals of Chelsea) might be Bravo's official coming out show.
    They've been pretty Anderson Cooper (can HE be on the show?!) about their network sexuality, kinda playing around the idea that they're gay but never really balls out (pun intended) saying it.

    As for the show -- it might be good if the men are smart, not stereotypes, employed (not in "fashion"), and have that iconic wit that only gays seem to be able to manipulate.

    Oh, and $10 says that a.) one of the castmates is one of Andy Cohen's buckfuddys or that b.) Andy Cohen just casts himself.

    @JordanGold: Keep hoping. They will be clever, rather than smart, and the employment will probably consist of party planning or something else that keeps them in contact with (but not necessarily 'in') the moneyed class, and one of the younger ones will likely be caught cheating with someone slightly younger than his Daddy Warbucks.

    Reality TV would not exist without the willing participation of those severely lacking in self-awareness, which is ironic considering the number of "I statements" most of the players utter on any given episode.

    Darryl M. Bell married Tempestt Bledsoe?? I am oddly tickled by this bit of information that I can't believe I didn't know earlier. This is almost as exciting as the coupling of Cooper from Private Practice and Paris from Gilmore Girls. And no, I'm in no way being sarcastic. I watch just enough TV for all of this to be awesome.

    Except for Real Housewives. I don't watch any of that crap.
