    Once my profile picture was Gloria Steinem, but after a host of girls that I had gone to primary school with and hadn't heard from since commented on how "OMG, pretty!!!!" I was in the picture, I thought it wise to change it, lest I further confused anyone.

    I think my avatar says that I'm a scruffy little dog that sports a toupee. It also infers that when you scratch me under my chin or behind my ears, I'll furiously tap my left hind food. I think it all makes a powerful statement.

    Before the generic hair swoop guy, wasn't it just a question mark? I preferred the question mark, which indicated that you weren't necessarily human.


    Also, does anyone remember that little face that used to stare out at you from the upper left corner of the Facebook screen, the face of a dude that looked sort of like Milo Ventimiwhatever? I called him the Facebook Kid. He was brutally dispatched with during one of the initial redesigns.


    And now, at the end of this comment, I have an overwhelming urge to feel the sun on my skin.
