    I would like to think that the e-mail is a satirical "roast-themed" message re: Peggy admitting to Nora that her speech did not go down well.

    Ha - I went to Vassar with this guy (did he even graduate) and pseudo-taught him as a TA in a technical theater class - its all true, he really is a howling drooling idiot. And at the time he kinda smelled.

    This is what happens when people who throw parties for a living refer to themselves as "PR Gurus" and what not. Those who actually "do" PR aren't really surprised by this self inflicted meltdown. She probably can't read, she certainly can't write and she has a face for radio. Meh to all of it.

    She's probably still pissed about this, which was reported by Jacob a few years ago in a story about PageSix:


    Last summer, publicist Peggy Siegal wound up in a war with the column when she attempted to have an item spiked naming Bruce Colley as the paramour of then-married Kerry Kennedy Cuomo. Colley was Siegal's ex-boyfriend and remained a personal friend. The items on Siegal continued through the fall. Her parties were "horrific." A blind item: "Which past-her-prime publicist brags to anyone who will listen about an aging movie star she used to pleasure?"
