If James Dean had lived he probably would have let himself go, put on weight, gone slowly bald, married a couple of times, produced some troubled kids with no careers, and become a crabby recluse. Brando, anyone?
The message I got out of the spot was basically, "in investing, time is your friend." This is true, but you don't need a financial advisor to carry that out; you just have to wait. Which leads to the other unavoidable truth, "in the long term, we're all dead" -- in which case using someone with a famous and early death to promote your company is probably not the best idea.
