    @Spirit Fingers: Wow, someone had to say it - finally. I tried to listen to She & Him a few times and couldn't deal with more than about 2 minutes of it. Can someone explain to us why she has so much indie street cred? Sure, she writes her own songs, but they are ghastly. Ben Gibbard can't be owed that many favors.

    @Spirit Fingers: Who whoa whoa... Her Baby It's Cold Outside duet at the end of Elf is a real keeper. I love her voice--I just think she doesn't pick the right songs. Maybe none of them should be written by M. Ward...

    I like the Meester track. It's subtle and is fairly heavily influenced by Robin Thicke's involvement, but I really started getting into it on about the fourth listen. (Of course, songs that take some time to sink in don't make for good listicle fodder...)

    Also how can you have a wrapup of singing TV stars without mentioning Jennifer Love Hewitt's "Let's Go Bang"?!
