    @Ack: it depends what state you are in while taping. Some states require both parties to know about the taping, some only one. It's also okay to tape if the person being taped was in a public place. #carrieprejean

    @themediatrix: I thought there was a federal law that prohibited the recording of phone conversations without both parties knowledge (unless there is a wire-tapping warrant) and it was not a state-by-state issue. Of course, I only think that because of the law at issue in my law-school moot court competition from 1996 and that was a long time ago... #carrieprejean

    @themediatrix: Yeah, I googled this an hour or so ago and it pulled up this link. I'm glad to read that explanation of the law because I have been completely misinformed until now.

    Legal or not, what kind of father tapes conversations with his kids and then tries to sell them? What a terrible betrayal. The reasons for Lohan's drug habit and general craziness become more apparent by the day. #carrieprejean

    @thingsbehindthesun: Mostly I'm curious because if there wasn't anyone else there, it would mean she A) made a sex tape of herself, for herself, which is just the saddest, most egotistical thing I've ever heard, and B) most definitely was the one responsible for releasing the tape to the world. #carrieprejean

    @Pope John Peeps II: The title of the album that her version is on is titled Sacred Arias, as is said by the host of the show in the beginning of the video. The tracklist is here: [www.rhapsody.com] .
    If you click on that, you'll see the album is indeed heavy on sacred arias glorifying God.

    In context, Azaria is closer to right about this version of "Hallelujah" than you are.

    @NoelleBlue: English Lit major here, possum, though I don't think you need an advanced degree of any kind to see that x + n = x - n shouldn't work when n equals any number other than zero (this could be wrong, but I honestly don't care). My original point, though -- and my apologies for couching this so irrelevantly in Kierkegaard -- is that begging for hearts negates the value of all hearts. #carrieprejean

Instead of "change" Obama brought out an old hack, who had trouble with both truth telling, even during the campaign, and with inserting his foot into his mouth.     Joe Biden is everything thats wrong and fucked up with congress. This dope won his seat in the Senate when he was 29 and has never had another job until being VP. He has learned about as much about how the country works from his perch in DC as Palin learned about Russia from staring at it. He is walking proof we need term limits.
