This season is making me long for the days of Bo Bice and Elliot Yamin.
I think that they should take the contestants out Inglorious Basterds style and just take a bat to their heads while they kneel before the judges.

I don't think Megan's long for this competition. Hopefully she'll get the boot the same year Anoop does.

1) All the examples they gave (Daughtry, Grey, Doolittle) were voted off in the Top 3.
2) The save can only be used before the Top 5.
3) Grey left--if widespread rumor is to be believed-- of her own accord, because she had a recording deal offer.
As usual with Idol, much ado about nothing.

I'm glad Jasmine didn't proceed any further. At least she won't be hanging around while better contestants get the boot. But this year? There aren't many better.

And then there's a faint memory of Jordyn Sparks, BeatBox What's-his-name, and Melinda Doolittle, (who the judges just endlessly fawned and creamed over relentlessly and got cut for 3rd) singing together.. or was that just a Ford™ commercial?
