    Angels fans are the worst fans in the world. They left in the 6-7th to beat traffic, and their only response to our banner was a well-dressed Saddle-back looking couple calling us "fagggggots."

    Really.

    You're team is getting crushed and you're response is to sit their quietly until a yankee fan takes out a banner... then show your simple-minded bigotry.

    @lobstr: My brain still has a hard time accepting that some of those SoHo lofts were still sweatshops back when I was a teen in the 1980s and are now vanity gyms for baseball players. #jasoncalacanis

    I won't waste my time with the stupid video.

    These two (among many) seem to amazingly come up with some attention-getting emotional stunts just at about the time they need to draw attention to some money-making activity.

    I find their revelations about technology often not so revelatory.

    I'd rather get my information from technologists who have subsequently learned journalism than from journalists (and other non-tech backgrounds) who struggle to understand technology having never "done it".

    How was it this year? I saw a little of the ustream live feed - the comments were particularly harsh and the companies were mostly lead-gen or, just, not thought out - Sprowtt?! really?

    Also a lot of half-price/free ticket type offers leading up to the event. Tough environment.

    @Moonshine Mike: Individual creators do not have the time or the means to track the use of their work and that's why these organizations exist. PS: Where did you get the 80/20 split info...or did you just make that up?

    The person calling seems very reluctant to answer the question as to what happened... *perhaps* because the answer might be something like "Well, Michael Jackson's personal doctor shot him up with demerol... and Jackson's been taking prescription drugs as well. We didn't want to call 9/11 immediately because than you might find out we were giving a bunch of drugs we shouldn't have been."


    It's what's left out of the call..... *perhaps* MJ was murdered by a drug dealer with an MD??? Shades of Anna Nicole Smith anyone?

    Listened to it and WTF? A doctor on scene who it is assumed is doing CPR with the patient in a bed? That does NOTHING. It would make chest compressions ineffective.


    The 911 operator was right to have them move him to the floor, but wrong that this doc supersedes his better judgment in this situation. Crikey! Now I'm sick about this all over again.
