    I don't understand. That Susan person, who wants to be Elaine Paige and sang Les Miz on Britain's Got Talent is actually a dude named "Jay" who went to Yale and smokes weed?


    I don't think I can accept that without having a breakdown or a makeover or something.

    I'm not sure I understand where all the nasty comments are coming from? Is it simply because we're talking about a Bush daughter's fiance and you all don't like her because her dad is a Republican?


    If we're just looking to insult former first daughters' fiances' for fun, then why not start with Chelsea Clinton's? Marc Mezvinsky (who is not exactly centerfold material either) comes from a similarly rich, WASPy background as Jay Blount. Mark is a Stanford graduate, instead of Yale, but Ivy League nonetheless.


    Marc's family was also politically active, however Marc's dad found that all his political contacts could not help him out of the jam that resulted in his arrest and conviction for defrauding investors out of over $10,000. Hopefully he'll be out of jail before the wedding!!!


    Wow... gee! Now I get why you all made these awful comments! It's so much fun!!! Now where shall I start with Amy Carter's husband? hmmm...

    Well, with Jenna married to Blandy McWhitebread and Barbara marrying this tool it appears this branch of the Bush line is finished in politics. Drugs have doomed Jeb's family to mere citizen status, and Neil's S&L shame will scar his offspring for at least two more generations. So rejoice in the apparent disintegration of the Bush family political dynasty.

    Sweet jesus. Are you kidding me with this? Not only is Jay pretty much the opposite of heinous, (he's even be-dimpled!) he's a totally warm and engaging person. He also happens to be hysterical. Did you even try to do any background reporting on him beyond a lazy Google search with your big toe? Owen, I don't hate you like all the other cool commenters seem to, but this is just moronic.     Anyway, YOU'RE right. Gawker should just pick the most unflattering photo it can find, throw out the word "frat boy" (actually, the Yale chapter of Sig Ep was founded by a bunch of smart, interesting, well-rounded sophomores/juniors - Jay included, I believe - to attract precisely the kind of guy who didn't want to join a douchey frat (like Dubya's Deke!) that was dominated by football boozers. But who cares to know that?) and let the commenters run free.


    That's much more interesting! Down with Jay! He haz an ugly! Since you hate his future father in law, you must hate him! He is responsible for our financial crisis too!

    Although I do sort of get the feeling the girls aren't as conservative as their dad. Still probably Republicans, yes, but not as stupid and ridiculous and torturey about it.
